Last Wednesday in class we discussed several HTML tags and how to properly code them.
Among the tags we discussed were <html></html>, <head></head>, <title></title>, <body></body>, <a href=”http://www.google.com>Google</a>, and <img src=”http://mikecane.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/kitten.jpg />, and <strong></strong>.
Here’s hoping that the tags will show up correctly!
We also learned a few rules:
- If you open a tag, you must close it.
- Do not type in all caps within the tags.
That second rule is something I’m going to have to get used to, since I initially learned html in 1996. Everybody was typing in all caps back then. It was the thing to do.
